Tsukishima Art School teams up with Da Vinci House to hold the "Poem exhibition by Marc Chagall" - the Great East Japan Earthquake Children Support program-. This special exhibition was curated to raise money and provide aid for the children who survived from the Great East Japan Earthquake.
This print exhibition shows 24 wood block prints and 31 poems. Love, Life, Sorrow, the artist Marc Chagall had created many art works based on his Jewish identity, often with beautiful colors of his imaginary dreaming world. While suffering inflicted by war, Chagall had never lost his love and passion. Moreover he lived by facing to the life and death. This exhibition offers you such narrative and experience showing Chagall's great sensitivity depicting human life.
